Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ('Terms') are a legal agreement between you and Chibuike Matthew Ikechukwu, doing business as GoshFit ('GoshFit', 'we', 'us', or 'our'), governing your use of https://goshfit.app and the GoshFit application (the 'Services'). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use GoshFit. By using the Services, you confirm that you are 18 or older and can enter into a binding agreement.

GoshFit provides structured workout plans, an exercise library with illustrations, a Nigerian food calorie database, meal logging (by typing, voice note, or guided photo scanner), progress tracking, personal streaks, and optional gym-buddy accountability. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

GoshFit provides general fitness and nutrition information for educational purposes. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional medical care. The workout plans, exercise illustrations, calorie and macro estimates, and food information are general and may not suit your individual circumstances.

Consult a qualified doctor before starting any exercise programme or changing your diet, especially if you are pregnant, have an injury or medical condition, or have any concern about your health. Stop exercising and seek medical help if you feel unwell.

You take part in any exercise or dietary change at your own risk. Calorie, macro, and portion figures are estimates and may not be exact. To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoshFit is not liable for any injury, health issue, or loss arising from your use of the Services or reliance on the information they provide.

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Tell us promptly at goshfitapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

GoshFit is a paid subscription. Current pricing is ₦4,500 per month, billed in Naira through Paystack. We may change pricing in future; any change will apply to your next billing period, and we will give you notice.

• Free trial: New users get a 7-day free trial. No payment is required to start the trial. If you do not subscribe, your access ends when the trial ends.
• Recurring billing: If you subscribe with a card, your subscription renews automatically each month through Paystack until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorise these recurring charges.
• Bank transfer and other one-off payments: Some payment methods (such as bank transfer or USSD) are charged once and do not renew automatically. If you pay this way, your access covers one month; to continue, you make another payment before or after the month ends. Nothing is charged automatically, and no card is stored.
• Cancellation: If you are on automatic monthly billing, you can cancel anytime from your account settings to stop future renewals, and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. If you pay by a one-off method that does not renew, there is nothing to cancel — your access simply ends when the month you paid for runs out, unless you choose to pay again.

Because we offer a 7-day free trial to evaluate GoshFit before paying, subscription payments are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. You can stop future billing at any time: cancel automatic renewals from your account settings, or simply not make another payment if you are on a one-off method. Payments already made are not refunded.

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Share, resell, or give others access to your account
• Attempt to copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Services or their security
• Upload anything unlawful, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

You keep ownership of the data you put into GoshFit (such as your logs, measurements, meal entries, and photos). You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to operate the Services for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Services, including their design, text, software, and branding, are owned by or licensed to GoshFit and protected by intellectual property laws. Exercise illustrations are provided under licence from WorkoutLabs and remain their property. You may use the Services for your personal, non-commercial use only. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission.

GoshFit relies on third-party providers (including Google/Firebase, Vercel, Paystack, and OpenAI). Your use of features that depend on them may also be subject to their terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

The Services are provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any figure or recommendation is accurate for you.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoshFit's total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or where we reasonably need to. Some provisions (such as the health disclaimer, intellectual property, and limitation of liability) survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will change the 'Last updated' date and, for material changes, give you reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
